La Leche League of Charlottesville offers mother-to-mother support, education and encouragement for breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be. All mothers and pregnant women welcome at our meetings or may contact our trained, accredited Leaders for breastfeeding help, information and support.
LLL of Charlottesville is part of La Leche League International, a nonprofit, nonsectarian organization. LLLI both seeks to help mothers worldwide to breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information, and education and promotes a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby and mother. Please visit the LLLI homepage for more information.

We hold FREE monthly breastfeeding support meetings:

The 2nd Wednesday of each month at 10 a.m. at Westminster Church on Rugby Road.
The 1st Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at Bend Yoga on the Downtown Mall.
**PLEASE NOTE: the July 2016 meeting is cancelled because it coincides with the 4th of July.**
Young babies and well children are also encouraged to attend. The atmosphere is casual, we have toys for toddlers to play with at the morning meeting, and you will be able to tend to your baby or child's needs. We hope to see you at a meeting soon!
